‘No’: Trump Just Said Russia Is No Longer Targeting US Elections

A Defensive President Delivers Wrong Answer – Again

President Donald Trump continued his all but total defense of Russia on Wednesday, telling reporters “no” when asked, “Is Russia still targeting the U.S.?”

The question of course referred to Russia’s attacks on the United States’ elections, which President Putin personally directed and has been underway since 2013, according to special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

Watch:

Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats just two days ago set off alarms on Russia’s interference after Trump’s siding with Putin:

“We have been clear in our assessments of Russian meddling in the 2016 election and their ongoing, pervasive efforts to undermine our democracy.”

UPDATE I: 12:43 PM ET –
Former CIA Director Michael Hayden weighs in on Trump’s denial of Russia attacking the U.S., links to national security lawyer Bradley Moss’ remarks: “This literally contradicts exactly what the Director of National Intelligence just said. Point blank.”
