CBS Chair and CEO to Be Accused of Sexual Misconduct in New Ronan Farrow Exposé – Stock Tanks: Report

Leslie Moonves, the Chairman, CEO, and president of CBS, is reportedly about to be accused of sexual misconduct in a bombshell report by Ronan Farrow at The New Yorker. Farrow’s previous reporting brought down Harvey Weinstein, earning him a Pulitzer Prize.

And in a dramatic twist The Hollywood Reporter has scooped The New Yorker, publishing news of the impending story first.

The New Yorker is poised to publish an article by Ronan Farrow that includes allegations of sexual misconduct on the part of embattled CBS chairman and CEO Leslie Moonves, The Hollywood Reporter has learned,” the publication reports.

“The allegations are said in part to involve instances of unwanted kissing and touching that occurred more than twenty years ago, as well as numerous claims that occurred more recently,” The Hollywood Reporter adds.

Upon the news of the impending story CBS Corporation’s stock began to tank, dropping more than four points:

Moonves has been with CBS since 1995, and is described as “one of the most powerful men in Hollywood.”
