Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was the target of an embarrassing attack by iconically hotheaded conspiracy theorist Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH). Thursday morning, grandstanding form the cameras, Rep. Jordan was the one who ended up being embarrassed – or should have been – after literally yelling at Rosenstein and in the process revealing he has little grasp on how the DOJ and FBI actually work.
In this segment Jordan explodes, so Rosenstein says he doesn’t know why FBI agent Peter Strzok said he couldn’t answer a question who Jordan interviewed him.
Jordan angrily snapped back, “works for you, doesn’t work for us.”
Rosenstein wittily responds, “115,000 people work for me sir.”
Moments later Jordan claims Rosenstein “threatened ” to subpoena calls and emails.
“There’s no way to subpoena phone calls,” Rosenstein responded.
