President Trump Sunday morning continued his propagation of propaganda designed to equate all immigrants with dangerous criminals.
“Democrats, fix the laws. Don’t RESIST,” he said. “We are doing a far better job than Bush and Obama, but we need strength and security at the Border! Cannot accept all of the people trying to break into our Country. Strong Borders, No Crime!”
Let’s look at that again: “Strong Borders, No Crime!”
That’s a ridiculous lie.
This chart from The Washington Post says it best.
“Undocumented immigrants are considerably less likely to commit crime than native-born citizens, with immigrants legally in the US even less likely to do so.”
Trump’s immigration “policy” isn’t based on fact, it’s based on his hatred of immigrants – especially the ones with brown skin.
