Trump Gets Blasted for Attacking the Press as America’s ‘Biggest Enemy’ – After Embracing a Dictator

‘Great Dealmakers Do Not Celebrate Deals’ Trump Once Said

Angry that the mainstream media and many independent news outlets are ripping to shreds his “deal” with North Korea, President Trump took to Twitter Wednesday morning to attack his critics.

As he has done before, the U.S. president declared the mainstream media – which he repeatedly calls the “Fake News” – the “biggest enemy” of America.

“So funny to watch the Fake News, especially NBC and CNN,” Trump tweeted. “They are fighting hard to downplay the deal with North Korea. 500 days ago they would have ‘begged’ for this deal-looked like war would break out. Our Country’s biggest enemy is the Fake News so easily promulgated by fools!”

To be clear, there is no “deal.” He has taken the word of a murderous dictator who slaughters his own people and, like Trump, is a serial liar, rather than get actual deliverables.

Exactly how will Kim will be removing all nuclear weapons and facilities from his country Where will all that be sent, or how will it be destroyed? How will America be able to know it is done? Who’s going to inspect?

These are but a few of many questions that Trump’s “deal” does not answer.

That said, Americans were’t worried about war with North Korea breaking out until Trump started provoking “Little Rocket Man.”

And as far as calling the free press America’s “biggest enemy,” Trump is coming very close to kicking the First Amendment.

Also, it appears trump just called those who follow – or “promulgate,” in this case promote or share – the mainstream media, “fools.”

That’s what dictators do.

Meanwhile, CNN’s Keith Boykin rightly saw fit to throw Trump’s own words back in his face:

Here’s what some others are saying:
