Donald Trump’s wife, Melania, has now been disappeared from the public eye for two weeks.
The first lady spent five nights in the hospital following a kidney procedure, which experts pointed out was odd given the description of the procedure.
But, as the Washington Post points out, she has also failed to reemerge since going home.
Her staff told the Post that she is holding meetings with her staff.
“We’ve had several internal staff meetings in the past week around a variety of topics, including her initiatives,” Stephanie Grisham, the first lady’s spokeswoman, said in an email.
She has also reportedly texted with friends.
President Trump was asked about the meeting this morning and pointed to a window in the White House, saying, “She’s doing great. She’s looking at us right there.”
