WATCH: Trump Says ‘I Would Love to Speak’ to Mueller – ‘Nobody Wants to Speak More Than Me’

President Donald Trump is back to claiming that he would “love to” testify before Special Counsel Robert Mueller, but he’d have to “override” his lawyers because he won’t get a fair hearing.

“I would love to speak. I would love to. Nobody wants to speak more than me,” Trump told reporters before departing from the White House to speak at the NRA convention in Dallas. “I would love to speak because we’ve done nothing wrong.”

The President also falsely claimed that Robert Mueller’s team is comprised entirely of Democrats, and threw a jab at Hillary Clinton, calling what would have been her 2016 victory night party a “funeral.” And he called his winning the election “a great day” for America.

He also called the investigation into Russia’s interference in the U.S. election a “witch hunt,” as he frequently does.

“There was no collusion with the Russians, there was nothing, there was no obstruction,” Trump added.
