WATCH: Trump Calls Undocumented Immigrants ‘Animals’

In a White House meeting focused on attacking sanctuary cities President Donald Trump Wednesday afternoon called undocumented immigrants “animals.” The president did not appear to specify those who had committed crimes, but used a broad brush in declaring all undocumented immigrants as less than human.

“We have people coming into the country – or trying to come in, we’re stopping a lot of them,” Trump told attendees, including Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and Attorney General Jeff Sessions. “But we’re taking people out of the country – you wouldn’t believe how bad these people are.”

“These aren’t people. These are animals,” President Trump said.

“And we’re taking them out of the country at a level, at a rate that’s never happened before,” he said. And because of the weak laws, they come in fast.”

“We get them, we release them, we get them again, we bring them out. It’s crazy,” he said.
