Trump Jr Credits His Father for Release of 3 Hostages – Neglects to Mention When 2 Were Captured

President Donald Trump Wednesday morning coyly tweeted that North Korea has finally released three Americans it was holding hostage. The three men had been sentenced to years of hard labor.

In response, Donald Trump Jr. took the opportunity to not just praise his father, but to attack President Barack Obama by extension.

It’s not known what – if anything – President Trump did to arrange for their release.

One week ago Trump tweeted this lie:

Only one of the hostages was taken when Barack Obama was president.

Tony Kim, Kim Hak-song, and Kim Dong-chul are the three men held hostage. Two, Tony Kim and Kim Hak-song, were taken hostage last year – when Trump was president.
