President Donald Trump‘s “daily” 11 AM security briefing was rather short Wednesday morning. At exactly 11:30 the president tweeted about the racist Roseanne Barr scandal, implying that just like Valerie Jarrett, he too is a victim of “HORRIBLE” remarks.
“Bob Iger of ABC called Valerie Jarrett to let her know that ‘ABC does not tolerate comments like those’ made by Roseanne Barr,” President Trump tweeted. “Gee, he never called President Donald J. Trump to apologize for the HORRIBLE statements made and said about me on ABC,” the president added, referring to himself in the third person.
“Maybe I just didn’t get the call?” he concluded.
It’s unclear what “HORRIBLE statements made and said about” him on ABC he was referring to. He also did not specify if they were news reports or entertainment programming on ABC Television.
As some on the social media platform noted, NBC never complained or canceled Trump’s “Apprentice” reality TV show over his horrible remarks, including his racist birtherism.
The President also did not actually condemn Roseanne Barr’s racism, anti-Semitism, or anti-Muslim remarks. He did praise her and her ratings two months ago.
