President Donald Trump has issued a thinly veiled call for the ouster of FBI agent Peter Strzok and suggested the Mueller Russia investigation come to an end. It was the latest in a series of Monday morning tweets on a day that Trump has nothing listed on his public schedule.
“Lisa Page, who may hold the record for the most Emails in the shortest period of time (to her Lover, Peter S), and attorney Baker, are out at the FBI as part of the Probers getting caught?” Trump tweeted, referring to FBI agent Strzok. “Why is Peter S still there? What a total mess. Our Country has to get back to Business!”
Minutes later he followed that up with a second attack on the Mueller investigation.
It’s important to note Democrats had nothing to do with the Mueller investigation. It was created by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, a Republican appointed by Trump. Robert Mueller is also a Republican.
Earlier Monday President Trump declared his support of torture in an attempt to defend his CIA nominee.
