BAD PRESIDENT
Trump Announces Full Pardon for Far Right Wing Extremist Who Says ‘Hitler Was Not Anti-Gay’
President Donald Trump has just announced he will bestow a “full pardon” on Dinesh D’Souza, a far right wing anti-gay extremist best known as the author of conspiracy theorist books and films that attack former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Will be giving a Full Pardon to Dinesh D’Souza today. He was treated very unfairly by our government!

D’Souza’s film, “2016: Obama’s America,” was billed as a documentary. The New Yorker described it as “a work of propaganda that offers base innuendo in lieu of argument.” It was based on his 2010 book, “The Roots of Obama’s Rage.”
D’Souza also penned “Stealing America: What My Experience with Criminal Gangs Taught Me about Obama, Hillary, and the Democratic Party,” “Hillary’s America,” and “The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left.”
In 2014 D’Souza was convicted of making an illegal campaign contribution.
Also that year, Mother Jones’ David Corn peened an article titled, “Remember How Dinesh D’Souza Outed Gay Classmates—and Thought It Was Awesome?”
In addition to outing gay students – in 1982, when the world was far different from today (not that outing for the sake of outing is acceptable, but the consequences then were generally more severe), D’Souza engaged in disgusting racist behavior, as Corn writes:
While he helmed the [Dartmouth] Review, it published a “lighthearted interview with a former Klan leader”—accompanied by a staged photo of a black person hanging from a tree—and an assault on affirmative action titled, “Dis Sho Ain’t No Jive, Bro,” which was written in Ebonics. (“Now we be comin’ to Dartmut and be up over our ‘fros in studies, but we still be not graduatin’ Phi Beta Kappa.”)
In 2017 D’Souza tweeted that Hitler – responsible for the slaughter of millions of LGBT people – was not anti-gay:
D’Souza is so toxic the far right wing Conservative Political Action Convention (CPAC) banned him in February after he posted offensive remarks about the Parkland High School shooting student survivors.
Last August, then-Chief White House Strategist Steve Bannon and then-Deputy Assistant to President Sebastian Gorka, both of whom have since departed the Trump administration, posed with D’Souza and his new book, The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left, in the White House.
NBC News’ Benjy Sarlin summed up Trump’s decision to pardon D’Souza:
Accusing millions of people of voting illegally with zero evidence while pardoning someone who confessed to using straw donors to make illegal contributions https://t.co/RdZcmYWlPk
