Michael Cohen Was Telling Companies ‘I’m the Guy You Should Hire. I’m Closest to the President.’

How did an obscure lawyer with few clients and a degree from literally the worst law school in America all of a sudden get million of dollars from Fortune 500 companies and international conglomerates?

Simple.

He was the long-time personal attorney to the president-elect.

“I don’t know who’s been representing you, but you should fire them all. I’m the guy you should hire. I’m closest to the President. I’m his personal lawyer,” is what a GOP strategist told CNN was Michael Cohen‘s sales pitch immediately after the November 2016 election.

And pitch he did.

“Cohen quickly got to work,” CNN adds. “According to multiple people familiar with Cohen’s conduct following the election, he aggressively pitched himself to potential clients, reminding them of his proximity to the most powerful man in the world.”

Another source says Cohen “was shopping himself around.”

Michael Avenatti, the attorney for Stormy Daniels who is suing President Trump, says Michael Cohen got hundreds of thousands to over $1 million from A-list corporations including AT&T ($200,000), Novartis ($1.2 million), Korea Aerospace Industries ($150,000). and a company linked to Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg, Columbus Nova ($500,000).

Those are the ones we know about, according to Avenatti. It’s not improbable to think there might be more.
