President Trump may be about to strike Syria. Reporters traveling with Vice President Mike Pence in Peru say they were “rushed unexpectedly” back to the hotel, and White House reporters say there is an “expectation” that a strike on Syria is “imminent.”

A report from the Vice President’s press pool says “Vice President Pence was supposed to attend a reception and banquet hosted by the Peruvian President in Lima this evening. He is instead headed to the hotel. The press pool had to leave the press filing center earlier than expected, running to the vans as quickly as we could.”
