Frank Luntz, one of the top GOP pollsters and by far the most famous, has issued the worst prediction possible to Republicans in both the House and the Senate: update your resumés because Democrats will likely take back both branches of Congress in the November midterms.
“I think the Republicans are in deep trouble in the House and the Senate as well. If the election were held today, frankly, I think Republicans would lose both,” Luntz said Sunday on Fox News.
The Hill adds that several “polls in recent weeks have shown Democrats with a lead over Republicans on a generic midterm ballot. A Quinnipiac University poll released last month showed Democrats holding a 10-point advantage.”
