Signs Mocking Pruitt Offering ‘$50 a Night’ Luxury Capitol Hill Condo Appear Across DC

A political activist is plastering signs across Washington, D.C., mocking EPA administrator Scott Pruitt. “Luxury Condo on Capitol Hill $50 a Night!!!” the “advertisements” read.

“Live luxuriously for cheap — just like Scott!” they also say.

The posters, which The Hill reports activist environmental group Friends of the Earth say are their handiwork, urge those interested to call a number, which is for the Environmental Protection Agency.

The “offering” does have some fine print: “Special rate void if not a Trump administration official able to provide special favors. Property may be used to host GOP fundraisers,” which Pruitt reportedly did.

Several people have taken photos of the ads and posted them to Twitter, including The New York Times’ Eric Lipton:

CNBC’s Kayla Tausche posted photos including one across from Trump’s infamous D.C. hotel:

The Wall Street Journal’s Natalie Andrews posted this one:

Late Friday morning Trump again reiterated his support of his embattled EPA Administrator, while attacking the “Fake News Media” for reports Trump wants to fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions and replace him with Pruitt. But many now believe Pruitt’s days – or hours – as an administration employee are numbered.
