Police: Waffle House Mass Shooting Suspect Still at Large – Stole BMW Days Earlier

The 29-year old man who is suspected of killing four people early Sunday morning at a Tennessee Waffle House is still at large, and possibly armed. Police say Travis Reinking is now suspected of having stolen a BMW from a dealership days before the shooting.

Reinking has eluded police since the Sunday mass shooting. But one man, James Shaw, Jr., is being described as a hero after jumping Reinking while he stopped to reload his AR-15, and wrested the weapon away from him.

Police say they have no idea where Reinking is.

Illinois police had revoked Reinking’s gun permit and confiscated four guns from him after the Secret Service caught him attempting to visit with President Trump in the White House. Reinking’s father reportedly returned the gun to his son.
