NRA Board member and former rock star Ted Nugent is attacking liberals again, this time advocating violence against Democrats, along with “RINO’s,” “Hollywood,” and “fake news.”
Last week – on Good Friday, of all days – Nugent had gone after the Parkland high school shooting student survivors, saying they “have no soul.” He doubled down on his statement last week, in a crazed and rambling rant, saying steadfastly, “I stand by my words.”
Now, he’s on the attack once again, and once again, he’s advocating violence, telling his supporters Democrats are like “rabid coyotes,” saying, “every time you see one, you shoot one.”
Nugent talked with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on Friday, as Media Matters reports.
“Don’t ask why. Just know that evil, dishonesty, and scam artists have always been around and that right now they’re liberal, they’re Democrat, they’re RINOs, they’re Hollywood, they’re fake news, they’re media, they’re academia, and they’re half of our government, at least,” Nugent told the InfoWars founder. “So come to that realization. There are rabid coyotes running around. You don’t wait till you see one to go get your gun. Keep your gun handy, and every time you see one, you shoot one.”
Nugent is no stranger to advocating violence with thinly veiled threats. In 2016 alone he targeted both President Barack Obama and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
In January of that year Nugent called for both Obama and Clinton to be “tried for treason and hung.”
Later in 2016 he promoted a video showing the “murder” of Hillary Clinton. “I got your gun control right here bitch!,” Nugent commented on the video.
And then, at a Trump campaign rally one day before the November election, Nugent told the audience he had a “a couple” of guns on him “right now and they’re loaded.”
“I got your blue state right here, baby!” Nugent said as he grabbed his crotch on stage. “Black and blue!”
Over a decade ago during a performance on his “Love Grenade 2007 Shrapnel Tour,” Nugent infamously told an audience, “Obama, he’s a piece of shit, and I told him to suck on my machine gun,” as Raw Story reported at the time. He also said, “Hey Hillary, you might want to ride one of these into the sunset you worthless bitch,” apparently referring to his machine guns.
