Trump Agrees to Meet Kim Jong-un South Korea Says at White House

South Korean officials have just confirmed that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un has offered to put total denuclearization on the table and to meet with President Donald Trump. 

Kim Jong Un has “pledged that North Korea will refrain from any further nuclear missile tests,” the South Korean officials said on the White House lawn, and “expressed his eagerness to meet with President Trump as soon as possible.”

The South Korean National Security Advisor, Chung Eui-Yong, began his remarks with effusive praise for President Trump.

Trump, the South Korean advisor said, has agreed to meet with the North Korean leader by May. No location has been announced yet.
