Stormy Daniels’ Attorney Just Responded on Live TV to ‘Cease and Desist’ Demand From Michael Cohen

Stormy Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti on CBS "This Morning"

After Sunday night’s “60 Minutes” interview with Stormy Daniels, the lawyer for Donald Trump’s personal attorney sent Daniels and her attorney a “cease and desist” letter demanding she apologize for insinuating Michael Cohen was behind the threat Daniels said was made against her and her infant daughter in 2011.

“That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom,” Daniels said an unidentified man told her in a Las Vegas parking lot. “Leave Trump alone. Forget the story,” she says he told her.

“Brent Blakely, Cohen’s attorney, demanded that Daniels apologize for insinuating that his client was behind the threat she described that allegedly took place in a Las Vegas parking lot in 2011,” Fox News reports.

The letter also “demanded that the actress refrain from making ‘false and defamatory statements’ about Cohen in the future.”

Michael Avenatti, Daniels’ attorney, appeared live on CBS News “This Morning” and had a message for the president and his attorney, Michael Cohen.

“We’re only getting started,” Avenatti told CBS’s Gayle King Monday morning. “Michael Cohen has zero credibility. We’re going to prove it. His statements thus far in connection with this matter are laughable,” he added.

“This is a man who has a history of thuggish behavior using intimidation tactics and trying to step on little people. As it relates to my client, it’s going to come to an end. We’re going to show the American people exactly who Michael Cohen is.”
