Says ‘I Think’ Trump ‘May Have Done Something During the Election’

Former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg launched into a rambling rant for about 20 minutes with MSNBC’s Katy Tur live, on-air. 

“I think it would be funny if they arrested me,” Nunberg said, announcing he is refusing to testify before Special Counsel Robert Mueller and will tear up his subpoena that requires him to appear on Friday.

Earlier Monday Nunberg told The Washington Post he would not testify.

“Let him arrest me,” Nunberg told The Post. “Mr. Mueller should understand I am not going in on Friday.”

On MSNBC, Kat Tur asked Nunberg if he thinks the special counsel has “something” on President Trump.

“I think they may,” he said. “I think he may have done something during the election. But I don’t know that for sure.” 

But Nunberg, in the wild ride, also insisted, “Donald Trump did not collude with the Russians.”
