‘You Are a Charlatan’ Brennan SaysÂ
Former CIA Director John Brennan just delivered an epic smackdown of President Donald Trump, calling the Commander-in-Chief paranoid and a “charlatan.”
Brennan was President Barack Obama’s Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 2013 to 2017, and served in the CIA for a quarter-century during Republican and Democratic administrations. He was also President Obama’s Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism.
Monday morning Trump posted a very confused tweet, both attacking President Obama for doing nothing about Russian election interference – which is false – and claiming the investigation into his campaign aides’ disturbing interactions with Russia is “Bigger than Watergate!” which is also false.
Brennan hit back, slamming Trump for his “constant misrepresentation of the facts, and increased anxiety and panic.”
Trump regularly attacks President Obama with the false claim of doing nothing to stop Russia’s election interference, claiming Russia did not interfere, and calling the Russia investigation a “witch hunt.”
