Britain Expels 23 Russian Diplomats Over Horrific Poisoning of Ex-Spy

‘Biggest Expulsion Since Cold War’

British Prime Minister Theresa May is ordering 23 Russian diplomats out of the country after Russia refused ignored a midnight deadline to deliver information into the poisoning of an former spy with a Russian military grade nerve agent. The AP calls it the “biggest expulsion since Cold War.”

May has given the diplomats, which she has labeled “undeclared intelligence officers,” one week to exit.

There is now international alarm over the attempted murder of former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter, yet the White House has been slow to support the UK in condemning Russia. In fact, Trump has not condemned Russia for this act.
