‘No Chaos Inside the White House’: GOP Chair Insists Trump ‘Focused on Bringing the Best People In’

Republican National Committee Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel on Thursday sought to knock down reports that there is “chaos” inside President Donald Trump’s White House.

After recently losing a number of cabinet officials and staffers in the Trump administration, McDaniel made a point of addressing White House dysfunction during an appearance on Fox News.

“There is no chaos in the White House,” she insisted. “Let me just tell you, there’s no chaos. It is a White House that is focused on results and bringing the best people in. That’s what the president has done throughout his career and he’s continuing to do that as commander-in-chief.”

Fox News host Harris Faulkner noted that there were a number recent high-profile White House departures, including economic adviser Gary Kohn and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.

According to McDaniel, Democrats invented the “chaos theory” because “the collusion theory has been debunked.”

The GOP chairwoman pointed to a controversial report released by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee to back up her argument.

“There is no collusion,” she asserted. “They were pushing this Russia collusion story. That’s gone now. So now, they’re pushing the chaos theory.”

“I was with the president the past two days,” McDaniel added. “It is a well-run machine. They are working very well together. The president is laser-focused on the American people and getting results.”
