‘That’s What Mueller Is Trying to Do’: Internet Mocks Trump’s ‘Keep America Great’ 2020 Slogan
‘Global Laughingstock’
President Donald Trump gave up his regular Saturday golf game so he could travel to Pennsylvania and endorse Rick Saccone for Tuesday’s special Congressional election. But Trump, as usual, made Saturday evening’s speech all about himself, not the Republican he’s supposed to be trying to help elect. Politico made it clear, writing, “At Pennsylvania rally, Trump endorses himself.”
In fact, Trump reportedly spoke for about 75 minutes. Guess when he finally endorsed Rick Saccone?

After telling supporters he was responsible for the greatness of South Korea’s Olympic Games and for bringing North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un to the bargaining table, Trump meandered through a long list of reasons why “Make America Great Again” could not be his 2020 re-election slogan.
Apparently convinced that he has achieved his goals after just 14 months in office, President Trump announced that “Keep America Great” will be his new rallying cry for 2020.
“But we can only do that if we elect people who are going to back our agenda and fight for our values,” Trump told the audience in Moon Township, Pennsylvania.

On Twitter, many were only too happy to mock Trump and his rebranding:
Trump’s 2020 slogan: Keep America Great!
Gallup: Just 29% of Americans are satisfied with the direction of the country. Since Trump became president, those figures have ranged from 21% to 32%. Nearly seven in 10 Americans (69%) are dissatisfied.

Keep America Great Except For The Parts We’re Still Angry About, Which Aren’t Trump’s Fault, Unless You’re Angry About Trump, Which, Look, Isn’t That Because He’s Trying To Make Things Great, And If It’s Not, Isn’t That Your Problem!

Keep America Great 🤣 Republicans touting slowing down economy, repeal of net neutrality, opening shores & artic to drilling, using DACA as bargaining chip for useless wall, slashing benifits for poor and giving corporations massive tax cut they didn’t need as winning is insanity

Donald Trump announcing that his 2020 campaign slogan is “Keep America Great†WHILE he is dismantling our democracy and being investigated for treason is called GASLIGHTING. Donald Trump is not making (or keeping) anything great except his lawyers’ bank accounts. #BlueWave2018
