‘Hey Hey, NRA, How Many Kids Did You Kill Today?’: Watch Students All Across the Country Protest for Stronger Gun Laws
“The NRA Is Not OK!”
One month to the day of the horrific massacre at Parkland, Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school, students are holding 17 minute walkouts and much longer protests across the country. Joining them are friends and family, school officials, and Democratic lawmakers. The goal: convince lawmakers to pass stronger gun laws.
My parents “never had to worry about someone barging into their classroom with an assault rifle and slaughtering everyone in their class. That is an American tragedy,” Maryland student says https://t.co/B9gqfHUvRF #NationalWalkoutDay pic.twitter.com/szJ0lmHujO
