Trump Tweets About Russia, Complains ‘Nobody’ Talks About Anything Except Russia, Then Tweets About Russia Again

Saturday Night Meltdown

President Donald Trump left Mar-a-Lago and arrived at the Trump International Golf Club at 9:45 Saturday morning. On his way he found time to tweet about Russia, insisting he has now been totally vindicated – which is totally false.

He left his West Palm Beach golf club at 2:40 PM, and, according to the press pool, passed protestors who held up signs that read:

Real news, fake president
Honk for Trump
We love Trump
NRA members for Trump
Latinos for Trump
We won
Trump grabbed me by the ****try
Lock em up

Less than five hours later the president had a meltdown, complaining that all anybody talks about is Russia.

Great jobs numbers and finally, after many years, rising wages- and nobody even talks about them,” Trump tweeted at 7:26 PM. “Only Russia, Russia, Russia, despite the fact that, after a year of looking, there is No Collusion!”

But the president, who has trouble understanding leadership, or leading by example, didn’t stop there. He had to tweet about Russia again.

Trump quoted a Wall Street Journal editorial that claimed “you don’t have to be a civil libertarian to be shocked by the details” of the Nunes memo, which actually makes little sense.

Here’s what the president found most important in the WSJ editorial:

It’s interesting Trump, who won the election, decided to share with his constituents, “the FBI and FISA appear to have been used to influence the 2016 election and its aftermath.”

Of course, Trump doesn’t check facts – and it might seem neither does the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board, which wrote – and Trump quoted – that the “FBI failed to inform the FISA court that the Clinton campaign had funded the dossier.”

CNN Saturday evening says that’s false.

According to an official cited in the [Washington] Post on Friday, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the matter’s sensitivity, the Justice Department presented “ample disclosure of relevant, material facts,” to the FISA court, including that “the research was being paid for by a political entity.”
The New York Times also reported Friday that the FISA court was told about political motivations behind the dossier.

Why is it that “nobody” is talking about anything but “Russia, Russia, Russia”?
