‘Oh God, Now Trump Wants a Witch Hunt Against Anyone Who Shows Signs of Mental Illness’
President Trump clearly watched “Fox & Friends” Thursday morning. The Fox News morning show, a regular part of the president’s daily media diet, focused on “warning signs” of the Florida teen charged with slaughtering 17 people at Parkland High School Wednesday afternoon.
In response, President Trump tweeted: “So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!”
The president’s tweet was far from comforting for many. In fact, it has left many worrying Trump wants a “witch hunt”:
