Mitt Romney Just Announced He’s Running to Be Utah’s Next US Senator – but Which Mitt Romney?

The Question Is, Which Mitt?

Mitt Romney has just announced he’s running for the US Senate, “to bring Utah’s values to Washington.” Romney, who basically can’t lose, would replace retiring Republican Senator Orrin Hatch.

The question is, which Mitt?

Will he be the same Mitt who, as governor of Massachusetts brought healthcare to millions in a program that became the basis of ObamaCare? 

Will he be the same Mitt who, as governor of Massachusetts told same-sex couples with children “I didn’t know you had families“?

Will he be the same Mitt who lambasted Donald Trump as a “phony” and a “fraud,” saying his “promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University”?

Will he be the same Mitt who blasted Trump’s racist remarks as “antithetical to American values” and urged Trump to denounce “fools parading the Nazi flag“?

Will he be the same Mitt who told donors 47 percent of Americans—those who backed President Obama—are “victims” who are “dependent upon government” and “pay no income tax”?

Will he be the same Mitt who, as governor, investigated every gay parent’s birth certificate request for each newborn child?

Will he be the same Mitt who was angered that “Some gays are actually having children born to them“?

The possibilities are endless.
