Kellyanne Conway: Trump’s Accusers ‘Have Had Their Day’ (Video)

“They Were Trotted Out Again Late Last Year”

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway believes that the numerous women who have accused Donald Trump of sexual assault or harassment “have had their day.”

Appearing Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Conway discussed the president’s apparent defense of the two White House officials who have resigned this week amid allegations of domestic violence and emotional abuse of a spouse with host George Stephanopoulos.

“Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation,” the president wrote. “Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused – life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?”

The president’s tweet prompted Senator Kirsten Gillibrand to weigh in yesterday, something “This Week” host Stephanopoulos inquired about to Conway. The tweet can be seen below:

“Do the president’s accusers deserve due process?” Stephanopoulos asked Conway.

“George, let me say something. Those accusers have had their day on your network and elsewhere for a long time,” Conway responded. “They were trotted out again late last year.”

Trump’s counselor subsequently advised that “I don’t need a lecture from Kirsten Gillibrand or anybody else who protected and defended and harbored a sitting president who had sexual relations in the Oval Office and was impeached for lying. I don’t need a lecture from her or anybody else.”
