GOP Governor Indicted on Felony Invasion of Privacy Involving Nudity

Republican Governor Eric Greitens

Republican Governor of Missouri Eric Greitens has just been indicted. The governor won election campaigning on ethics reform but the Attorney General of St. Louis has filed a Felony Invasion of Privacy charge against Greitens.

“The charge says Greitens knowingly took a photograph of a woman in a ‘state of full or partial nudity without the knowledge and consent’ of that woman,” KMOV reports.

The charge stems from a 2015 affair and allegations that he threatened to release a nude photograph of the woman, taken while she was blindfolded and her hands were bound, if she ever spoke publicly about the affair,” The Kansas City Star adds.
