Delta Just Became the Latest Company to Join the Flight From Toxic NRA

17 Major Corporations Are Saying No to the NRA

Delta is dropping its ties to the NRA. The airline will no longer offer discounts to NRA members as part of its marketing efforts that show support for the gun lobby.

Since the Parkland, Florida high school shooting there has been a large push from the student survivors and consumers for companies to sever support of the NRA. Delta is at least the 17th company to do so, announcing Saturday morning its decision.

ThinkProgress, which has been actively urging Delta and other companies to break from the NRA, notes that just hours earlier, “Delta defended its contract with the NRA as ‘routine.'”

Since Tuesday, these companies have decided doing business with the gun lobby is wrong.
