15 Months After the Election
The 2016 election ended more than 15 months ago – but clearly not for far right wing Republicans at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), who right now are chanting “Lock her up!”Â
The infamous phrase of course refers to former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, who was falsely accused by Trump supporters and the Trump machine of doing many of the very things this president is doing now.
The “Lock her up!” chant followed a remark by far right wing conservative pundit Ben Shapiro who praised President Donald Trump for ensuring “Hillary Clinton is not and never will be President of the United States.”
Conservatives stood, cheered, and applauded.
