BREAKING: Russians Indicted in Mueller Investigation for Interfering in 2016 Election

A federal grand jury has just indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian companies on charges stemming from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump team’s possible collusion with Russia.

The 37-page indictment indicated the Russian began their work to disrupt the 2016 election in 2013.

“The organization sought, in part, to conduct what it called ‘informational warfare against the United States of America’ through fictitious U.S. personas on social media platforms and other Internet-based media,” the indictment states.

Russians traveled to the U.S. and spent millions of dollars to buy servers, work with social media companies, and even take photos in front of the White House, MSNBC notes.

The Russian company had a multi-million dollar annual budget.

Russians tweeted out pro-candidate information about Jill Stein, MSNBC adds. 

Frequent hashtags Russians used include: #Hillary4Prison, #MAGA, #TrumpTrain.

They also used a Facebook group to organize rallies in Florida.
