As Markets Went Into Historic Freefall Trump Was MIA – Now He Wants the ‘Good News’ to Be Reported

‘Big Mistake’ Trump Cries

President Trump is angered the news media isn’t giving the same coverage to the stock markets’ slow recovery this week as it did to the historic freefall drops the nation saw on Friday and even worse on Monday. By Monday’s close the markets had erased the entire year’s gains, in just two days.

But President Trump thinks the media should be reporting much more on the gradual rise.

In the ‘old days,’ when good news was reported, the Stock Market would go up. Today, when good news is reported, the Stock Market goes down,” Trump lamented via Twitter. “Big mistake, and we have so much good (great) news about the economy!”

Trump only shows up when there is “good news.” He did not comment on the combined 1844 point drop. Monday’s was the largest single day point drop in history, and the president – despite touting the market’s performance 25 times in January alone – was MIA as investors and a great many Americans feared for their future.
