White House: How Many Times Do We Have to Tell You Claims Trump Is Mentally Unfit Are ‘Disgraceful and Laughable’

Huckabee Sanders Responds to ‘Growing Number of suggestions…that He Is Mentally Unfit to Serve as President’

The White House is getting tired of having to repeatedly tell America President Donald Trump is not mentally unfit to serve in the Oval Office. Thursday afternoon Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked about Trump’s mental health – a frequent topic of conversation among many across the nation – and expressed frustration that once again she has to tell America that Trump is not unfit.

“What is the president’s reaction to the growing number of suggestions in this book and the media that he is mentally unfit to serve as president?” The Hill’s Jordan Fabian asked Huckabee Sanders in response to Michael Wolff’s bombshell book that was excerpted across several media outlets Wednesday. In the book there are many instances in which people question Trump’s mental health.

“The same way we have when it has been asked before – it is disgraceful and laughable,” she insisted. “If he was unfit he probably wouldn’t be sitting there, wouldn’t have defeated the most qualified group of candidates the Republican Party has ever seen,” the press secretary claimed.

Huckabee Sanders paused as she tried to find the words to describe Trump.

“This is an incredibly…strong and good leader,” she concluded.

The Hill adds that Wolff “wrote of Trump’s aides: ‘My indelible impression of talking to them and observing them through much of the first year of his presidency, is that they all — 100 percent — came to believe he was incapable of functioning in his job.'”
