Powerful words and performances filled the 60th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, but more surprising was Hillary Clinton’s cameo appearance.
“In a surprise comedy bit, a cadre of music celebrities and Hillary Clinton read passages of Michael Wolff’s bestseller Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House as a spoken-word album on the 60th annual Grammy Awards Sunday night,†The Hollywood Reporter wrote following the former Secretary of State and first female presidential nominee for a major political party’s appearance.
Host James Corden introduced the bit, which looked ahead to next year’s Grammy for the best spoken word album. It was hilarious from its beginning, featuring the likes of John Legend, Cher, Snoop Dogg, Cardi B and Khalid – but Clinton’s appearance was the showstopper.
