Two Teenaged Students Killed, 17 Others Injured at Kentucky School Mass Shooting

Both Victims Were 15 Years Old

Two students are dead and 17 people have been injured in a Benton, Kentucky high school shooting that began Tuesday morning. The suspect was apprehended. Initial reports had claimed one person dead and at least five injured at the Marshall County High School.

Among the 17 people injured at 14 who were shot and wounded with a gun, Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin said at a press conference Tuesday afternoon.

A 15-year old girl died at the scene, a 15-year old boy died at the hospital. Six had to be flown to a trauma center.

Gov. Bevin says the suspect is a 15-year old boy who has been apprehended.
