Stephen Miller Refused to Leave CNN’s Studios After His Unhinged Performance Led to His Interview Being Cut Short
Miller Refused to LeaveÂ
White House policy advisor Stephen Miller delivered a Golden Globes worthy performance for best actor in an insane drama of his own creation on Sunday. Miller appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” to defend President Trump and the president’s eldest son from charges in Michael Wolff’s book, and from attacks by former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon.
It didn’t go well.
Miller became unhinged quickly, prompting Jake Tapper to state the obvious: he was putting on a performance for an audience of one: President Donald Trump.

And indeed, Trump posted a tweet praising Miller’s insane performance immediately after Tapper cut the interview short.
But the drama didn’t end when the cameras were off.
“The segment was over and Mr. Miller was politely asked to leave the set multiple times. After refusing to leave, he was escorted out by security,” a CNN source told CBS News.
Business Insider cited two sources who “told Business Insider that after the taping was done Miller was asked to leave several times,” but he “ignored those requests and ultimately security was called and he was escorted out, the sources said.
Having to be “escorted out by security” after an unhinged interview is just par for the course with this White House.
