Sarah Sanders Says Mueller Hasn’t Found Anything

She’s 100% Wrong

Sarah Huckabee Sanders says Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his team haven’t found anything during his seven-month long investigation. The White House press secretary made her false claims Tuesday morning standing in front of the White House, hours before President Trump will deliver his first State of the Union address.

“Look, the president hasn’t gone after the special counsel,” Huckabee Sanders told NBC’s “Today” show co-host Savannah Guthrie when asked why Trump is going after everyone related to the Russia probe, including most recently FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who was forced out and left under pressure on Monday.

Guthrie noted Trump has even gone after the Attorney General, while Huckabee Sanders continued her spin.

“Time and time again, the only thing that has come out of these, and every single time, after interviews, after reviewing records the only thing that they come back to is that, ‘No, we haven’t found anything yet,'” Sanders falsely claimed.

“Frankly, I think the people that are frustrated most isn’t the president, it’s the American people. They’re sick and tired of being inundated with Russia fever. They’re ready for the media and the rest of the country to solely focus on how to move us forward,” Sanders claimed, again, falsely.

Seven out of ten Americans say Robert Mueller should be able to finish his investigation, including majorities of both Democrats and Republicans, according to a January NPR/PBS News Hour/Marist poll.

Huckabee Sanders’ claim the special counsel hasn’t found anything is just plain false.

Robert Mueller has obtained indictments against former Trump National Security Advisor Mike Flynn, former Trump campaign CEO Paul Manafort, Manafort’s business partner Rick Gates, who worked for the Trump campaign also, and former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos.

Flynn and Papadopoulos have already pleaded guilty and are cooperating with Mueller’s team.

Mueller is Russia’s interference in the U.S. election and any possible collusion between the Trump team and Russia, or any possible obstruction of justice.

NCRM will cover the State of the Union with live updates.
