‘AMERICA FIRST!’: Trump Launches Latest Attack on DACA, Democrats

“Too Bad!”

As fallout continues from Donald Trump’s racist remarks on immigration, the president launched his latest assault on Democrats and DACA.

“The Democrats are all talk and no action,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “They are doing nothing to fix DACA. Great opportunity missed. Too bad!”

It was Donald Trump’s decision to end DACA, which protects undocumented men and women brought into the United States illegally when they were children. The president then followed the tweet with two words, utilizing caps-lock: “AMERICA FIRST!”

“I don’t believe the Democrats really want to see a deal on DACA,” he continued, subsequently repeating that “They are all talk and no action. This is the time but, day by day, they are blowing the one great opportunity they have. Too bad!”

Last week, Trump claimed that “the wall’s gonna happen or we’re not gonna have DACA.”

This week, a federal judge in San Francisco blocked Trump’s decision to rescind President Obama’s DACA program. Naturally, it led to a Twitter tantrum from the president.

Following this, Donald Trump attended a bipartisan meeting on immigration—which led to his latest scandal, his commentary on “shithole” countries.
