WATCH: SNL Presents ‘A Special Christmas Message from the White House’
“I’m Not ‘Elf on a Shelf’—I’m Jeff Sessions!â€
Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump returned to “Saturday Night Live†(SNL) last night to trim the Christmas tree of shame with the ornaments of “all the haters and losers [he] destroyed this year.â€
“Merry Christmas,†Cecily Strong’s Melania Trump began.
“That’s right,†Baldwin followed, “you can finally say that again—because the ‘War on Christmas’ is over. It will soon be replaced by the ‘War with North Korea.’â€
“We have a cozy fire in the fireplace,†he continued, “and it’s burning all-natural, all-American coal—which is coming back in a big, big way. I’ve had an absolutely amazing first year in office, a lot of people have been saying it was the greatest year in the history of America… and maybe the entire planet Earth.â€
“Rest in peace,†Strong echoed, before guiding “Trump†back to trimming the “tree of shame.â€
The duo soon welcomed a who’s who of cast and guest impersonations, beginning with Kate McKinnon’s Kellyanne Conway. “What would you like to have for Christmas?†Baldwin asked.
“I want… out,†she replied.
Aidy Bryant’s Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Beck Bennett’s Mike Pence, Scarlett Johansson’s “complicit†Ivanka Trump, Mikey Day’s Donald Trump Jr. and Alex Moffat’s Eric Trump also appeared to trim the tree—with special appearances by ousted Omarosa (Leslie Jones)and Kate McKinnon’s Jeff Sessions.
“Eric, you’ve better be good this year,†Mikey Day’s Trump Jr warned his brother. “The ‘Elf on a Shelf’ is watching.â€
 “I’m not ‘Elf on a Shelf,’†Kate McKinnon’s tiny Jeff Sessions appeared. “I’m Jeff Sessions… don’t worry, I will not snitch—because I do not recall who’s been naughty or who’s been nice.â€
