WATCH: SNL Cold Open Spoofs ‘A Christmas Carol’ With Ghosts of Trump’s Past, Present, Future
‘Lock Him Up!’
We can’t know what Charles Dickens would have thought of Donald Trump, but “Saturday Night Live” provided a hilarious spoof of “A Christmas Carol” featuring ghosts of the president’s past, present, and future yet to come. The SNL cold open begins in the Oval Office with “Kellyanne Conway” (played by Kate McKinnon) urging Alec Baldwin’s “Donald Trump” to return to the White House Christmas Party. She admits she’s so drunk she actually told the truth.Â
Trump is then visited by the ghost – not of Jacob Marley – but of a “Mike Flynn” (played by Mikey Day) as the “Ghost of Witness Flipped.†He tells Trump to come clean “for the good of the country,†words which Trump finds impossible to say.
“Before all this, I had a great life, Donald,†the SNL Flynn says. “I was an honorable, twice-fired military man who loved to talk about how Hillary Clinton had a child sex ring in a pizza shop,†which sadly, he did.
Then the ghost of “Billy Bush” (played by Alex Moffat)Â who gets to slam Matt Lauer. “Melania” appears and SNL throws in a brilliant attack of her creepy Christmas decorations, based on this tweet from the First Lady’s communications director:
The holidays are upon us!! Right now: flotus is seeing to every last detail here at the @WhiteHouse pic.twitter.com/TglHYDVUx1

Then, the “ghost” of “Vladimir Putin” (Beck Bennett) appears, and finally, the perfect “ghost” comes to say “Lock him up!”
We won’t give away any more spoilers!
