Trump Shares Image of CNN’s ‘Blood’ Beneath His Shoe in Latest Attack on Free Press
“Winningâ€
The President of the United States began Christmas Eve with his latest attack on the free press—this time, sharing a photoshopped image of himself with the “blood†of CNN on his shoe.
“Winning,†the image reads atop an image of Trump, originally tweeted by Twitter user “oregon4Trump.†You can see the image below:

As you can see, Donald Trump retweeted it:
Following this, Trump asserted that “The Fake News refuses to talk about how Big and how Strong our BASE is. They show Fake Polls just like they report Fake News.†“Despite only negative reporting,†he continued, “we are doing well – nobody is going to beat us. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!â€
The Fake News refuses to talk about how Big and how Strong our BASE is. They show Fake Polls just like they report Fake News. Despite only negative reporting, we are doing well – nobody is going to beat us. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

The former director of the Office of Government Ethics, Walter Shaub, may have put it best:
The wannabe autocrat just retweeted an image depicting CNN’s blood on the sole of his shoe. These colicky tweets reveal he’s hurting this weekend. They make him (and our country) look weak.

The attack is just the latest example of Donald Trump and his family’s war with CNN, and their pension for childish memes attacking the network. In July, the president shared a GIF of himself physically assaulting the CNN logo.
