Trump Replaced by his Disney Animatronic in Viral Photos

‘Honestly, It’s An Improvement’

When Disney unveiled its Donald Trump for their “Hall of Presidents” attraction earlier this month, the Internet fell in love.

As with every aspect of the Donald Trump presidency, controversy swirled around the attraction’s inclusion of the 45th president almost immediately after his election. “The Hall of Presidents,” described by Walt Disney World as the now-45 men “who have served as U.S. President in an Audio-Animatronics show tracing the history of the United States,” unveiled its Trump in December 2017.

Newsweek called it “nightmarish,” protesters chanted “lock him up!” during its opening, and Twitter picked it apart. A few examples:

Now, one Twitter user has photoshopped the animatronic into actual photos of Donald Trump—and it’s gone viral. “I replaced .@realDonaldTrump with his Disney animatronic figure and honestly, it’s an improvement,” user @bornmiserable tweeted on Friday. Take a look:

The user continued:

Speaking with Mashable, the Twitter user advised “I’ve done several Trump Photoshops and when I saw that animatronic figure, I just thought it would make more sense to put it in place of him — just about as much of a human being as he is.”
