Christmas is the time of year people around the world and here in America focus on others, not themselves. It is the season in which many, regardless of faith or religious beliefs, work to spread love and good cheer among those around them. Many people often sacrifice personal comforts by working hard to earn extra money to give gifts to friends and loved ones, many choose to endure the rigors of traveling so they can be with family, and most make the wants and needs of those they care about more important than their own.Â
Especially during Christmas, we put others first.
Donald Trump ushered in his first Christmas as president by making the holiday all about himself.
At about 10 PM on Christmas Eve, President Trump anointed himself the leader of the war against the war on Christmas.
Because, as others pointed out, under President Barack Obama, no one was allowed to say, “Merry Christmas!” – not even Donald Trump:
