Roy Moore Accuser Says She Wrote Date, Place Under Moore’s Signature in Her Yearbook (Video)

She Wants to Know, ‘Is the Party More Important’ Than What Happened to Her

Beverly Young Nelson is responding to Roy Moore‘s army of supporters who claim she forged his message and signature in her high school yearbook. Nelson will appear with attorney Gloria Allred on Friday at a press conference where proof Moore’s signature is legitimate they say will be presented.

But Nelson is also responding to online “investigators” who examined screenshots of the yearbook message and signature and say the date and place, and letters “D.A.” next to his name prove the entire entry is forged.

Speaking Friday with ABC’s “Good Morning America” Nelson said “yes” when the reporter said he did sign your yearbook,” and “you made some notes underneath.”

Moore stands credibly accused by nine women of child sexual molestation, sexual assault, aggressive pursuit of teen girls, and inappropriate behavior with teen girls.

President Donald Trump Friday evening will hold a campaign rally just 20 miles South of Moore’s home state of Alabama, and he is fully expected to again announce his full support for Moore, as he has done repeatedly over the last week, including earlier this morning:

Nelson, 16 at the time, had no reason to think she would need a “clean” copy of Moore’s signature in her yearbook as proof of the friendship, and obviously wanted to remember the date, place, and person who made the inscription.

A Donald Trump voter herself, Nelson was also 16 when she says Moore attempted to rape her in his car after her boyfriend was late in picking her up from her waitress job and he offered her a ride home from work.

An Alabama judge has said the signature in Beverly Nelson’s yearbook is identical to the one on a copy of the U.S. Constitution Moore signed and gave him when he joined the judiciary 15 years ago.

She says Moore’s supporters’ attacks against her have hurt her. And she says she feels what happened to her is “just being swept under the rug” by Republicans because Moore is a Republican. “Is the party more important than my incident?” she asks.

On Tuesday, she, and all of America, will have an answer from Republican voters.

UPDATE: 12:06 PM ET –
This is how Fox “News” is reporting the story. For the record, as you saw in the video, Nelson did not “admit” she “forged” anything.
