Pete Souza Just Trolled Donald Trump With This Photo of Barack Obama at a Golf Course and It Was Awesome

The Obama White House ‘Informed the Press Corps About the Fact That He Was Golfing and Who He Was Golfing With’

Former Obama White House photographer Pete Souza has been trolling his ex-boss’ successor since Trump took office. Souza, an amazing photographer who had extraordinary access, now almost daily posts photos of then-President Obama that relate to how poorly President Trump is performing now.

In short, Souza is trolling Trump, and it’s great.

On Tuesday CNN posted exclusive video of President Trump golfing, just one day after he had announced Christmas vacation was over it it was time to get back to work.

The CNN video infuriated conservatives. Trump has golfed or visited a Trump property one out of every three days he’s been president.

But the White House, which for some reason generally refuses to admit Trump has been golfing, often goes to great lengths to hide it.

On Wednesday, a large white box truck appeared, and was parked just outside Trump’s golf course to block reporters’ view – clearly yet another attempt to hide the president’s actions from the press.

In contrast, Souza on Thursday posted the above photo of then-President Barack Obama on his Christmas vacation in 2010.

President Obama hands one of his #44 golf balls to a youngster while golfing on his Christmas vacation in 2010,” Souza writes on Instagram. “At the time, the White House informed the press corps about the fact that he was golfing and who he was golfing with. Press photographers also were granted access to take photographs of him golfing.”

That’s some expert trolling.

Souza’s book of photographs of Obama’s presidency is on Amazon. It’s beautiful. (Full disclosure: I bought three, gave two as Christmas presents, kept one. The affiliate link above, if you purchase the book, will net NCRM a tiny sum.)
