Omarosa Out.

“The Most ‘Despised’ Person in the Trump White House”

Omarosa Manigault is leaving the White House. A long-time Trump supporter, she first met the President as a contestant on “The Apprentice.” Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders made the announcement Wednesday morning, after Roy Moore lost the Alabama special election. Several reports have painted Manigault as a bad influence on Trump, one his Chief of Staff has tried to block from delivering to the president mountains of fake news stories and bad political advice.

Reporter April Ryan, a frequent target of Sarah Huckabee Sanders, teased that someone in the White House was about to be fired minutes before news broke of Manigault’s impending departure. She posted these tweets:

Fox News also says Manigault was “fired.”

Manigault’s title is director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison, but reports also state White House staff have no idea what she does. Other reports paint her as “the most ‘despised’ person in the Trump White House.”

Her resignation is not effective until January 20.

UPDATE:
April Ryan offers more details:

An employee can sign a letter of resignation and still be fired.
