Former Sheriff David Clarke Holds Trump-Style Twitter Tantrum Following Reports of FBI Investigation

‘LYING LIB MEDIA’

Former Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke held a lengthy, Trump-style Twitter tantrum following reports that he was under investigation by the FBI.

“LYING Lib media spreads FAKE NEWS about me and @realDonaldTrump to fool their liberal followers into believing LIES,” the former Trump surrogate and active Trump supporter wrote, “because as Mrs. Bill Clinton once said, ‘Look, the average DEMOCRAT VOTER is just plain STUPID. They’re easy to manipulate.’ Classic!”

Of note, Hillary Clinton did not say this.

Clarke then tweeted a photoshopped image of he and Donald Trump attacking a man with the CNN logo superimposed over his face, as the president and his family have frequently done. Just last week, on Christmas Eve, Trump shared a photoshopped image with the network’s “blood” beneath his shoe.

“BREAKING NEWS! When LYING LIB MEDIA makes up FAKE NEWS to smear me, the ANTIDOTE is go right at them,” Clarke tweeted. “Punch them in the nose & MAKE THEM TASTE THEIR OWN BLOOD. Nothing gets a bully like LYING LIB MEDIA’S attention better than to give them a taste of their own blood #neverbackdown”

Several other images were then shared, some racially-charged, as well as retweets from the president’s Twitter account and Fox News. Hours later, Clarke returned to his attacks on the free press, another favorite pastime of the president’s.

“LYING LIB MEDIA can’t beat me with a coherent counter argument so they resort to what liberals do when they have no logical narrative,” Clarke wrote. “They try to silence me by creating FAKE NEWS from LIES to smear me like they did yesterday. I don’t back down, I punch back. Bring it scum bags.”

Clarke then bragged that his tweets apparently hadn’t violated Twitter’s terms of service:

Clarke concluded his Twitter tantrum by advising that there’s “Nothing like getting under the skin of lefties like I did today. I fight to win. You come at me libs you better bring a hard hat, some aspirin and your veggie wrap because it’s going to be a long day and I’m going to smack you around until you crawl back to your mom’s basement.”

Donald Trump has frequently supported  David Clarke in return for his advocacy on the president’s behalf.
